-1 tablespoon of chili paste

In a large skillet or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and bell pepper and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until they are slightly softened.

If you want, you can add the pineapple, peanuts, and chili paste at this point. I usually don’t add them, but they are all delicious additions.
